About Me

My name is Rachel Kiko. I am a self taught embroiderer and sewist based in San Antonio, TX. I am a Coast Guard veteran and mother to a wonderful little boy and a sweet baby girl. 

After having my son, I became frustrated with the lack of color and creativity in clothes for little boys. He was absolutely obsessed and delighted by all things plants, flowers, and bugs. Finding clothing to reflect his likes was nonexistent so I decided to make my own. I made the first bug shirt and motorcycle sweatshirt and my friends and family encouraged me to pursue offering my embroidery to everyone.  

And thus Plant Boy Stitchery was made!
